Your map starts centered on your current location. And it shows you the resources available in your area. Continue for a quick tour to help you find resources of interest.
You can search for different types of resources in your area. You can enter things like “recovery support” or “housing”. Or you can enter a resource name if you know it. Be sure to select from the list of options that appears.
Resources appear as points on the map. You can select any point to see basic information, share it with others, or get directions. Selecting the resource name takes you to a page with more detailed service and contact information, as available. This information is updated frequently.
You can use these tools to change to a list view of resources in your area and to zoom in (-) and out (+) of your area.
You can select Reset to clear the map for a fresh start! This will allow you to search for resources across the country. You can enter things like “collegiate recovery program”, “Austin, TX”, or “collegiate recovery program near Austin, TX”.
There are map tools available to help you better understand the types of resources that are available in in your area. Each time you search or zoom in or out, the categories change to show the types of resources available. You can select a category when you want to see just one type of resource.
As a registered user, you will have the option to add resources to personal collections. Look for Add to collection on any resource page. A My collections tab will appear next to Resources when you sign in.
